Sustainable Upgrade For Croft Headquarters

Croft Cargo have recently finished the refurbishment of our Yorkshire based headquarters, dramatically improving the building's carbon footprint and helping us to meet our sustainability goals.

Completing the refurbishment on our headquarters, originally built in 1880, was the final piece in a rebranding process, which started last year.

Whitcliffe House is a period building of great character. Therefore, great care was taken to preserve the original features and to seamlessly combine new and traditional styles into a modern logistics administrative centre.

Croft Cargo have been providing international logistics and supply chain solutions to global customers for 13 years now, and originally moved into our Cleckheaton (Yorkshire) headquarters over nine years ago.

Green Credentials
Sustainability was at the heart of the planning stages. Future proofing the building, and making it stand out for its green credentials, was an important part of the process.

As well as installing solar panels, the premises have been fitted with Tesla Powerwalls, storing energy to be used later. Thus, providing an 80% reduction in the electricity we draw from the grid.

Croft Cargo Managing Director - Lee Meadowcroft - commented

“We are delighted to have completed the project, and even more delighted with the results”.

“The rebrand for us has not just been about changing the logo. It has been about instilling our core values and setting out the way we want to do business for the years ahead”.

“We decided that modernising the building and bringing it up to speed with the branding was a key element in the process”.

Croft cargo are now ideally positioned as an established independent logistics provider. We look forward to continuing to offer our unique customer led solutions and more successful years of development and growth.
